Hi everyone,
This is Brittany with Marchant Property Management, and today I’ll be walking you through how your year-end tax documents work.
Each January—no later than the 31st—you’ll receive two important documents from us: your 1099 and your Schedule E report.
The Schedule E report will be emailed to you and also uploaded to your owner portal directly from our software.
Your 1099 will be sent separately through a service called Track1099. You’ll receive an email from them, and you’ll simply need to enter the last four digits of your Social Security number or Tax ID to access the document.
If you don’t see the email or believe you didn’t receive it, feel free to reach out to our team—we’ll be happy to resend both documents to you.
These are the two documents you’ll need for filing your taxes for the previous year.
The Schedule E report provides a full breakdown of your income and expenses, while the 1099 reflects your total rental income for the year.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call or email us—we’re always happy to help.
Thanks, and have a great day!
