Seabrook entered the real estate business in 1968 after a brief career in the textile business, two years of active duty with the US Army and various sales and management positions until founding The Marchant Company in 1993. He is past President of both the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors and Greenville Multiple Listing Service. Seabrook was named “Realtor of the Year” in 1981. Served as Secretary and Treasurer of The South Carolina Association of
Realtors and Chairman of The South Carolina Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC)and named “Realtor Emeritus” by NAR in 2009. Director of The Home Builders Association of Greenville. Past President of The Greenville Touchdown Club, Past Chairman
of the Civil Service Commission for The City of Greenville, Past Chairman of The Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament Committee. Charter Member and Life Member of Heritage Sertoma Club. Named “Sertoman of the Year” in 1974. Served a six-year
term as Board Member of Clemson University IPTAY Scholarship Fund. Also served as Vice President of The Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity, Secretary and Board member for Connector 2000 Association, Past President of the Caesar’s Head Community
Center, and Chair, Board of Trustees for Faith Memorial Chapel, Cedar Mountain, NC.
